Class III Pedestrian Survey


Here is another post about Class III Archaeological Survey: Pedestrian Reconnaissance (commonly known as Class III Pedestrian Survey)! A surface, or pedestrian, survey is often the first thing that is done on a new site, site revisitations, and the like. Archaeologists look for above-ground evidence of an archaeological deposit. ⚒

There are usually a lot of obstacles that archaeologists have to “go over” (e.g. barbed wires)! 😜
